Participated in negotiating $3 million agreement. Also launched an internal sales portal using Plumtree. www.PlanetOut.com - Role: Community Director and MSN Producer - Darren was a founding member and first staff member of the Web's largest community for gay men and women. He grew the company to a value of $60 million before leaving. Darren left as a full-time employee in 1998 but later returned as a consultant ito assist with Community Management. www.sbpl.info - Role: Web site developer - Contracted with the South Brunswick Public Library, to redesign and redevelop their Web site, but keeping some of the original design components. The goal was to create a consistent interface and enhance functionality, but also allow authorized library staff to update the content themselves. Dreamweaver and Contribute were the tools selected. Components of the former design (though outdated) were reused on the new site, at the request of the Director. www.pway.org - Role: Network Designer - Contracted with Piscataway NJ Board of Education to design telephone/data infrastructure. Completed telecommunications design to alteration and addition areas of five school buildings; the largest building connecting 450 new data/telephone ports and 50 wireless access points to 13 IDF’s and 3 MDF’s. Brought in $42,000 worth of revenue for DRG. Roles for other Employers: PSE&G - Role: E-Business Application Architect - Developed an e-Business Technical Strategy and related Standards. Implemented a 3-tier architecture using Netscape, BEA Weblogic and Oracle - running on Sun/Unix. Managed consulting vendor integec.com for roll-out and support.
