The following image shows the black antenna ground component of the Hawking Antenna Kit. Note that the 14 GA ground wire attaches to this. The other end must be attached to the frame of your RV with the ground lug mentioned above. Regarding your router/repeater, remove the antenna that came with the unit, and connect the other antenna connection that came with the Hawking Kit, as pictured below.
Pictured below is the ground wire connected to the frame. Ideally this would be an unpainted portion of the frame.
Pictured below is Greg Paine's antenna in both the up and down positions. Here you can also see the 1" cap on top of the PVC pipe, which wasn't pictured above in the Home Depot parts list:
